Catalyst Kids

Catalyst Kids offers camps, before and after school programs, preschool, infant and toddler care, and TK and kindergarten enrichment. Camp experiences are offered during school breaks in the summer, spring, and winter, and the infant and toddler program includes individualized care, nurturing interactions, and responsive practices. The before and after school and preschool programs are inclusive programs that teach, inspire, and promote self-guided learning opportunities.

About the provider

Catalyst Kids has 50 years of history. The organization partners with twenty-nine school districts to provide before and after school programs, preschool, and camps. All Catalyst Kids programs participate in a rigorous internal quality rating program, and all Preschool and Infant/Toddler centers participate in the California Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). The centers are licensed by the California Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division.

Subsidized child care programs are provided in many centers. The programs welcome all children and families. Families are invited through an open-door policy and can submit an inquiry. For infant/toddler programs, each child has a primary teacher and care is provided in small intimate groups of 3-4 infants or 4-6 toddlers.
