The Strawberry School Swim Program offers swimming lessons and swim instruction that include a tryout lesson and work on freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Swimmers also practice streamline backstroke kick, kicking for breaststroke and butterfly, somersaults, flip turns, and open turns. Lessons take place in a heated outdoor pool with water temperatures kept between 87°F and 92°F, and follow a Strawberry 1–5 leveled swim curriculum with specified prerequisites and goals; after successfully completing Strawberry 5, swimmers will be ready for swim team practice.

• Schedule: Lesson options June 1, 2026–October 31, 2026, with weekday and Saturday time slots; all private, semi-private, and group lessons are 30 minutes
• Price: Current Strawberry School full-time Pre-K students receive a 10% discount on all lessons. Private Lessons (1 on 1), 30 minutes: single lesson $93 per swimmer; 5-pack $450 per swimmer; 10-pack $881 per swimmer. Semi-Private Lessons (2 students), 30 minutes: single lesson $53 per swimmer; 5-pack $255 per swimmer; 10-pack $499 per swimmer. Group Lessons (3–4 students), 30 minutes: single lesson $38 per swimmer; 5-pack $185 per swimmer; 10-pack $362 per swimmer.
The program offers tailored swim instruction with certified professional coaches, and instructors are assigned based on the student’s age, skill level, and class needs. Semi-private and group lesson swimmers must come with their own group upon enrolling, and the maximum capacity for group lessons is 4 students per class. Strawberry School reserves the right to cancel the lesson if the minimum student requirement is not met and to add students to group lessons up to the maximum capacity, and it may reassign instructors at any time to best support student learning and safety.
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for any reschedule or cancellation request, and requests made less than 48 hours prior to the lesson time are not eligible for rescheduling or refunds, including due to illness, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances. Late arrivals or no-shows are not eligible for rescheduling or refunds, and for eligible refunds, a 3% processing fee is retained to cover payment vendor charges. Strawberry School reserves the right to cancel a lesson without refund if a student exhibits aggressive, unsafe, or highly disruptive behavior that interferes with instruction or safety. Occasionally, Strawberry School may take photos and videos during lessons for progress reports and yearbook projects.
Coach Tom serves as a coach and is an American Swimming Coach Association (ASCA) certified Level II coach. Coach Kaja is the principal teacher of the Strawberry Pre-K program, Lead Teacher, Swimming Coach & Director at Strawberry School in Tracy, CA, and holds an Early Childhood Education & Elementary Education BA from Europe and is a California Certified Montessori teacher. Coach Darcy is the Consulting Coach for the program. Strawberry School states that it fuses various early childhood development philosophies from around the world to create a unique, adaptive teaching style and that it cares about every element in children’s development “for a better tomorrow.” The Strawberry School menu is approved and regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child Care Food Program.
