Tulare NJB

Tulare NJB offers Rookies for kindergarten and 1st grade, with no weekly practices; players meet with their coaches on game days, practice, and then play another rookie team. It also offers Division 4 for 2nd grade, where a mandatory skills assessment is required, score is not kept, and there is no tournament. The program also includes Division 3, Division 2, and Division 1 for boys and girls in grades 3rd through 8th, plus girls-only divisions for grades 3rd through 8th.

About the provider

Tulare NJB is in its 40th year of serving the community through basketball. The program includes CIF referees and an NJB official uniform and team picture.

Registration fee is $200 for Divisions 1 through 4 and $120 for Rookies. Included with registration are eight raffle tickets valued at $10 each; families may sell all 8 and keep the $80 collected, effectively reducing the out-of-pocket registration cost from $200 to $120. There is an added credit card fee not included in the registration cost. Division 4 is co-ed and score is not kept. Rookies coaches are members of local high school basketball teams.
