Blue Buoy Swim School

Blue Buoy Swim School offers Parent & Me Swim Classes, Semi-Private Swim Classes, Private Swim Classes, Adult Swim Classes, and a Free Trial Swim Class. Parent & Me classes are available for ages 3 months to 3 years, Semi-Private classes for ages 2 to 12, and Private classes for ages 3 months to 15 years.

At a glance

• Ages: 0–18 years old
• General schedule: Swim lessons are offered throughout the week in the morning, afternoon, and early evening. Children under age 3 can start with Parent & Me classes and switch to Semi-Private or Private Classes. Children of any age can start directly in semi-private or private lessons. Lessons can be scheduled once or twice a week, or more.

About the provider

Blue Buoy Swim School has been operating since 1956 and is located in Orange County, California. Instructors are certified in CPR and first aid. The school has two temperature-controlled swimming pools, and the small pool is kept at 90°-93°.

All children under the age of 4 must wear both a disposable swim diaper with a snug-fitting reusable swim diaper over. Parent & Me classes have a 6:1 ratio with a maximum class size of 6. All schedule tables are subject to change. Flexible scheduling and generous absence and make-up policies are offered. Swim instructors are experienced and 19 years old and older.
