Grace Harbor Preschool

Grace Harbor Preschool includes activities such as reading, recognizing short words, counting, math fundamentals, printing, early social studies, healthy habits, early science, time concepts, and social emotional learning. The program integrates social-emotional learning with academic work and offers daily opportunities for children to learn and practice social, emotional, problem-solving, and language skills. The program focuses on the development of students’ self-esteem as one of its most important goals.

The mission of Grace Harbor Preschool is to glorify God by providing a loving Christian environment where students mature both spiritually and academically, with a Christ-centered education that incorporates both academic excellence and Biblical Christian values. The program states that each child is a treasure with a unique and special God-given personality and that each child will be given love and security, taught Christian character by example and practice, and treated with respect and dignity. It offers quality Christian education through caring staff who exemplify a Christian lifestyle according to the Word of God with compassion, creativity, and high standards. The program’s stated goals include preparing children to live spiritually mature, morally upright, and physically healthy lives as part of their families and community, and aiming for improved social-emotional competence, increased regulation, improved classroom behavior, increased school success, school connectedness and belonging, improved peer relationships, and self-awareness.
