Fundamental Chess Academy

Fundamental Chess Academy offers youth chess classes, beginner chess classes, and an academy program focused on structured chess instruction. The program also provides after-school enrichment and chess camps. Classes are led by professional instructors experienced working with young learners.

• Ages: 6–14 years old
• Schedule: Hours of operation Monday–Friday; closed Saturday–Sunday (see schedule for specific class times)

The program’s mission is to offer structured enrichment that builds focus, confidence, and critical thinking. It features a structured curriculum, progressive lessons that help students improve step-by-step, and beginner-friendly classes where students learn and enjoy chess in a fun and supportive environment. Fundamental Chess Academy also runs after-school enrichment chess programs hosted directly at local schools across Tustin, Irvine, and Orange County.
