Helping the Behaviorally Challenging Child (HBCC) focuses on behaviorally challenging children, teens, and young adults. The program is grounded in the evidence-based Collaborative Problem Solving® (CPS) approach. It supports parents, caregivers, educators, and professionals in understanding the reasons behind challenging behavior and in using practical, evidence-based strategies that emphasize connection and collaboration.
The mission of Helping the Behaviorally Challenging Child (HBCC) is helping behaviorally challenging children, teens and young adults lead more productive and inclusive lives. HBCC is a California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. The program promotes effective interventions that focus on connectedness, collaboration, and inclusion, with an emphasis on reducing conflict, strengthening relationships, building skills through connection and collaboration, and supporting lasting success for children, teens, and young adults.
