Blue Buoy Swim School offers Parent & Me swim classes, semi-private and private swim lessons, and stroke-focused options such as Stroke Prep and Stroke Technique classes. The program also offers adult swim classes, swim meets, pool parties, and special events including the Safer 3 Water Safety Challenge, the Aquachievers Program, the World’s Largest Swim Lesson, and the Water Safety Challenge.

• Schedule: Class and event options are available in the morning, afternoon, and early evening on weekdays and Saturdays, within regular business hours of Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–8:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.
Blue Buoy Swim School has two temperature-controlled swimming pools specifically for instruction, with both pools kept at 90°–93°. The small pool has large steps and shallow water and is used for young swimmers, while the large pool is used for advanced young swimmers, older age groups, adult swim lessons, and specialty events such as swim meets and the Water Safety Challenge. For pool parties, the program offers indoor and outdoor pool options, gas grills for preparing food on site, and kitchen facilities for prepping and storing food.
Since 1956, Blue Buoy has mentored countless teachers and coaches. The school describes learning to swim as a journey and states that instruction is tailored to students with a friendly approach focused on continuous progress, and that students are treated as cherished family members. Blue Buoy Swim School states it offers all-inclusive swim instruction for all ages and abilities and personalized swim lessons tailored to individual needs, and it offers a free trial swim class.
Blue Buoy Swim School serves Orange County and La Habra residents and supports the Safer 3 Water Safety Challenge created by the Swim for Life Program. It participates in the Aquachievers Program, which focuses on helping children with special needs gain access to facilities and training to feel comfortable and be safe in the water, through a partnership with the Assistance League of Tustin and the Assisteens group.
Blue Buoy Family Swim School was featured on the Bloomberg TV series “World’s Greatest” as one of the top companies in America and appears in episode 341 on the World’s Greatest TV website. The school states it is proud to have had 8 former students represent the United States in the 1984, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympics.
