Legacy Martial Arts Training

Legacy Martial Arts Training offers Tiny Tiger Taekwondo, Juniors classes, Family Class, Taekwondo classes, and Hapkido. Tiny Tiger Taekwondo includes self-control, respect, focus, discipline, confidence, high self-esteem, and basic to intermediate Taekwondo skills. Taekwondo classes include self-defense, kicking, punching, striking, forms, agility, balance, coordination, and self-improvement.

Programs

• Tiny Tiger Taekwondo — 3 to 6 years old · Specially designed for children; teaches self-control, respect, focus, discipline, confidence, high self-esteem, and basic to intermediate Taekwondo skills; free trial lesson mentioned.
• Juniors class — Children and teens · Designed to help children and teens develop confidence, self-esteem, focus, self-defense, and physical fitness.
• Family Class — Children 5 years and older · Parents and children can take Taekwondo classes together; helps families work together and achieve goals.
• Taekwondo class — Children from 3 years old and up, as well as adults and seniors · Traditional/Olympic-style Taekwondo; focuses on self-defense, kicking, punching, striking, forms, agility, balance, coordination, and self-improvement.
• Hapkido

About the provider

The program has been practicing, teaching, and living in Tustin for over 20 years. The leadership team includes Master Andres Pesce, with Senior Instructors Julie Ta and Sandra Ta. Its mission is to deliver an education of self-improvement and empowerment through martial arts and to help students improve focus, confidence, self-esteem, motivation, self-discipline, and physical fitness. Legacy Martial Arts is a member of Hapkidowon, and Taekwondo is described as an official Olympic sport.

Programs are intended to supplement traditional education; family classes are optional and not required with a family member; site says the family can attend together or individually.
