Brain Builders STEM Education offers hands-on STEM classes and camps with activities such as wood shop, welding, soldering, competitive robotics, reverse engineering, engineering with LEGO, VEX Robotics, Dash & LEGO Wedo, LEGO Boost, 3D printing, Mindstorms EV3, and engineering lab flight. Summer camps are offered in morning, afternoon, and full day formats, with extended hours from 3 pm to 4:30 pm available.
Programs
- Super Summer Full Day Camps — 6 to 16 · 9:00 am-3:00 pm · Includes hands-on activities, take home projects, and a pizza party. Lunch supervision is included with a full day camp. Add extended hours from 3 pm-4:30 pm.
- Half Day Camps — 6 to 16 · 9:00 am-11:30 am or 12:15 pm-2:45 pm · Can be combined with a morning and afternoon camp for a full day camp. Add extended hours from 3 pm-4:30 pm.
- Engineering w/LEGO — 6-12, 8-14, 9-14 · Morning 9:00 am-11:30 am; offered on multiple summer camp weeks

About the provider
Brain Builders STEM Education has been building bigger brains since 2002. Its mission statement says, "Real hands-on classes, real STEM, a lot of fun."
Teacher to student ratio is typically 1 to 15. Many classes have a lower maximum so the ratio can be lower. Classes run for 16 weeks and meet once a week for 1.5 hours, except competitive robotic teams. You can customize classes, join back to back classes, and stay during gaps with Study Hall. Late joiners may be allowed depending on the class, and the cost may be prorated. If a class is missed, credit depends on the situation. If a child does not like a class, they may be transferred or credited toward a future class. Discounts may be available for multiple camps or referrals.
