Vacaville Ice Skate Camps

Vacaville Ice Skate Camps offers Summer Break Skate Camp, Afternoon / Minimum Day Camps, Parents Night Out / Evening, Learn to Skate, Learn to Play, Youth / Adult Hockey, Skating Academy, Tots 1&2, Tot 3 & 4, Pre Alpha, Alpha, and Beta. Summer Break Skate Camp runs June 8th to August 7th from 8am to 3pm, with extended care from 3pm to 6pm for full-day campers. Daily and weekly options are available, and summer camp does not require skating experience.

Programs

• Summer Break Skate Camp — 4-12 · June 8th - August 7th, 8am - 3pm; extended care 3pm - 6pm for full day campers · $50 per day · Daily and weekly options available. No skating experience required. Snack provided; campers must bring their own packed lunch. Must be fully potty trained.
• Afternoon / Minimum Day Camps — 4-12 · 12:30pm - 5:30pm on some minimum school days throughout the year · $50 per day · Offered on some minimum school days throughout the year.
• Parents Night Out / Evening — 4-12 · 5:30pm - 9:30pm on select evenings · $50 per day · Offered on select evenings.
• Learn to Skate — Fundamentals of ice skating in a fun and supportive environment designed for beginners.
• Learn to Play — Introduces the fundamentals of hockey once skaters are comfortable on the ice.
• Youth / Adult Hockey — Youth and adult hockey programs after building foundational skills.
• Skating Academy — All ages & abilities · Once per week; 10-week semesters approximately Jan-Mar / Mar-May / May-July / Aug-Oct · $220 per session · Group lessons. Skate rental is included for every session. 4 public skate passes are included. Classes are 35 minutes in length.
• Tots 1&2 — Beginner Age 5 & Under · Tuesdays at 5:30pm or Saturday at 10:45am
• Tot 3 & 4 — Tuesdays at 5:30pm or Saturday at 10:45am
• Pre Alpha — Beginner Age 6 - 15 · Saturdays at 10:45am
• Alpha — Tuesdays at 5:30pm or Saturday at 10:45am
• Beta — Tuesdays at 5:30pm or Saturday at 10:45am

About the provider

The Vaca Valley Figure Skating Club was formed in 1998. It is a full member of US Figure Skating. Its mission states that the facility is dedicated to providing a comprehensive figure skating program for skaters of all levels and aspirations. Community involvement notes that campers forge new friendships and create lifelong memories.

Summer camp requires ages 4-12, full potty training, and no prior skating experience. Registration is done through DaySmart; all registrations require a DaySmart Recreation account. Parents/Guardians should add their child to their account under 'Add Family Member'.
