Camp requirements state that participants must be 4–12 years old, fully potty trained, and bring a packed lunch, while snacks and water are included. The program notes that no skating experience is required, skate rentals are included, and camps cater to all skill levels. Recommended items to bring include plenty of layers that allow for movement, long sleeves, a jacket or puffy jacket, warm gloves, a reusable water bottle, and optional helmets or crash pads, which are encouraged but not required. The camp structure includes a sample full day schedule with check-in and open play, three skating sessions, snack and lunch breaks, crafts, games, winter-themed activities, exercise off-ice, and end-of-day clean up and pick up.

Testimonials from parents describe campers enjoying the camp and instructors, including comments that “The girls are loving camp and the instructors have been amazing!” from Hiliary W., and that a child went from “barely being able to stand on the ice to gliding around confidently by the end of the week” with “patient and encouraging” coaches, as shared by Sarah J. Additional feedback from Linda K. notes that instructors were “kind and skilled” and made sure each child felt included and supported. The phrase “Your Home for Skating & Hockey in Vacaville” is used in a testimonial about Vacaville Ice.
