Cal South TOPSoccer

Cal South TOPSoccer is a community-based recreational soccer program. The program offers soccer activities specifically for athletes with physical and mental disabilities. TOPSoccer relies heavily on help provided by “buddies” during soccer activities, and no soccer experience is necessary to be a TOPSoccer Buddy.

• Price: There is a US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Coaching Certification Course available free of cost.

Cal South has taken part in US Youth Soccer’s TOPSoccer program since 1991. The Outreach Program for Soccer, or TOPSoccer, is a community-based recreational program specifically designed to help athletes with physical and mental disabilities participate in soccer. Anyone can be a TOPSoccer Buddy, including parents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, or friends. TOPSoccer is described as an opportunity for the soccer community to come together and make a difference in the lives of all participants. Cal South, Skyline Pitch, and UASA partner to expand adaptive soccer access across Southern California. The program’s leadership team includes Cassidi Rand and Mike Rand. Cal South PRO+ ODP is a U.S. Soccer Approved Program.
