Matt Leinart Flag Football offers flag football through Summer Camp sessions, seasonal leagues, and an All Girls League. The program includes games played under the lights in a positive, fast-paced environment for boys and girls in grades K–8. It is part of the Matt Leinart Flag Football Network and is powered by SportsEngine's Sports Relationship Management (SRM) software.

The Matt Leinart Flag Football League was founded in Newport Beach in 2010. The league was founded by Matt Leinart, whose experience and achievements include a high school C.I.F championship, two NCAA championships, and a Heisman trophy. The stated goal of the league is to provide a fun league for kids to be involved in, while also developing and furthering their football skills. The program is in conjunction with the NFL Flag Football program and focuses on teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill-building in a competitive, confidence-building, non-contact football setting for both boys and girls of all skill levels, with an emphasis on community fun. It is described as one of the premier youth flag football leagues in the country.
