The program follows AYSO's Six Philosophies: Everyone Plays®, Balanced Teams, Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship, Open Registration, and Player Development. It is built on volunteer support and is described as a fun, family-friendly environment with a Complete Player Development Pathway for participants from toddler to adult, including those with developmental disabilities.
