Wasco Recreation and Parks District Youth Programs and Summer Camp

Wasco Recreation and Parks District Youth Programs and Summer Camp offers a two-week Summer Camp along with ongoing activities such as soccer, lap swim, ZIN Zumba classes, and the Wasco Fit Club. Lap swim uses dedicated lanes and is available in the mornings from 6:30–7:30 am, and FREE ZIN Zumba classes take place every Wednesday and Friday from 6–7 pm. The community pool can also be reserved for pool party rentals for birthdays, team gatherings, and similar events.

The Wasco Recreation and Parks District mission is to create recreational opportunities for growth and enhancement by developing diverse services and programs that promote citizen involvement and a strong sense of community while striving to increase the social, cultural and physical well-being of the community. Wasco Recreation and Parks District is a Special District operating under Section 5780 of the California State Code. The district relies on support from local businesses and individuals to sponsor programs and events, including the annual Red, White & Boom Fireworks Festival and the Annual Car Show & Shine in Honor of Danny Rueda, and it encourages donations to help fund the Fireworks Festival. Fields, diamonds, and shelters that are not reserved are available on a first come, first served basis, but paid reservations and Wasco Recreation and Parks District programs take precedence.
