About

West Covina Youth Soccer offers recreational soccer, a club soccer program, soccer league games, and soccer practices. The recreational program is open to all new and experienced players, and the league also has a club program that requires tryouts and selection. Team forming is completed the week registration closes using player ratings to create balanced teams, and all coaches are allowed one assistant coach and one buddy.

• Schedule: Registration for FALL 2026 begins July 11 at 10am online; practices are typically 1–2 times a week starting no earlier than 5:30pm, with games on weekends and some weekdays depending on division
• Price: FALL 2026 registration fees: $12.00 Cal South Fee plus a processing fee for all credit card transactions. $170 1st child online; $160 2nd child online (must be siblings); $150 3rd+ child online (must be siblings). Registration for FALL 2026: 1 child $170; 2 children $330; 3 children $480; 4 children $630; 5 children $780; 6 children $930, plus a $12.00 Cal South Fee and a processing fee for all credit card payments for all registrations.

For FALL 2026, all children born between 2008 and 2022 are eligible to participate, and players must be born between January 1, 2009 and December 31, 2022, with 2008 players allowed if still in high school. The division setup is U5–U6 co-ed, U8–U12 girls and boys single gender, and U14–U18 co-ed. Game schedules are released one week prior to the start of the season, with U5 and U6 general game times anywhere from 8–12pm, U8 generally 11–5pm, U10 and U12 from 8–5pm, and U14 and U18 varying on Fridays and Sundays. Registration for FALL 2026 begins July 11, 2026, at 10am online, and all registration is done online. Registration fees include a uniform with socks, jersey, and shorts, an end of season trophy or medal, pictures, and all referee fees.

At the time of registration, fees, a birth certificate (if new or not uploaded), and a current photo of the child are needed. At the first practice, children need cleats, shin guards, a ball (size 3 for U5–U8, size 4 for U10–U12, and size 5 for U14–U18), and water. For practice, children should wear comfortable clothing, preferably no denim, with active wear preferred, and hydration is stated as extremely important throughout the week, not just on practice and game days.
