Hands & Hoofs Kids Day Camps offers full-day experiences where kids take part in horse groundwork, including learning horse behavior, grooming, and leading horses through obstacle courses. The program also includes creative arts and crafts with horse and animal-themed projects, barnyard animal interactions with goats, sheep, donkeys, and a llama, and a Horse Kiss Painting activity where horses create art using color-dyed apples.

Hands & Hoofs Kids Day Camps follows an Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) approach and uses a small group focus with 1:1 ratios during horse activities. The stated mission is “Building a Connection of Kids, Animals and Community.” Hands and Hoofs is able to offer specialty programs to other non-profits and local organizations such as Special Olympics and Girls and Boy Scouts. In addition to day camps, programs also include Barn Bees, Little Campers, School Field Trips, Adult Programs, and Community Partnerships. The organization also hosts a Christmas Fundraiser craft fair and bake sale with a kid zone, prizes, hot chocolate, and chances to meet horses, donkeys, goats, and other animals. After registration, families receive detailed information about what to bring.
