Winters Shakespeare Workshop is an intensive acting camp where participants rehearse and perform a comedy by Shakespeare with a live band, singing, and dancing. The program includes dancing and music as part of the rehearsal and performance process.

Winters Shakespeare Workshop is a summer youth program of Winters Friends of the Library and has been running for more than 25 years. It is sponsored by Winters Friends of the Library. Participants work with a professional director, acting coaches, a choreographer, and a musical director. The program’s stated goal is to give local teens a chance to work intensely with experienced theatrical artists to create a performance for the Winters community on the Winters Park Playground Stage. The Winters Shakespeare Workshop leadership includes Committee Chair Mary Lou Linvill.
