About
Summer Musical Theatre Workshop focuses on acting coaching, vocal coaching, and dance coaching. The program also includes theatre games and creative crafts as part of its activities.
• Ages: 7–17 years old
• Schedule: Program typically runs late June through late July, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:30 PM, with additional hours required during Tech Week
• Price: Tuition: $475 for Woodland residents (Non-resident rates apply; includes all materials and production costs). Reserve your spot with a $100 deposit when registration opens.
Yolo Stage Company offers this program in collaboration with the City of Woodland Community Services Department and Woodland’s Parks and Recreation Department. The 2025 production is Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr., and every actor gets a role. The program includes a cast t-shirt, provided costumes, a fully staged production, and a series of public performances. The summer 2026 show will be announced near the end of the 2025–2026 school year. Producer Kathy Trott leads the program. The mission of Yolo Stage Company, in collaboration with the City of Woodland Community Services Department, is to enrich the lives of children and youth through the performing arts and to foster confidence, creativity, and collaboration among young performers, nurturing their growth both on and off the stage.
