About
The Summer Musical Theatre Workshop includes acting coaching, vocal coaching, and dance coaching. Participants take part in theatre games, creative crafts, and a fully staged production that culminates in a series of public performances. Every actor is given a role, and the program provides a cast t-shirt and costumes.
• Ages: 7–17 years old
• Schedule: Program typically runs late June through late July, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:30 PM, with additional hours during Tech Week
• Price: Tuition: $475 for Woodland residents (non-resident rates apply; includes all materials and production costs). Reserve a spot with a $100 deposit when registration opens.
Yolo Stage Company offers the Summer Musical Theatre Workshop as an annual program in collaboration with the City of Woodland Community Services Department and Woodland’s Parks and Recreation Department. The program is produced by Kathy Trott. The mission of Yolo Stage Company, in collaboration with the City of Woodland Community Services Department, is to enrich the lives of children and youth through the performing arts by fostering confidence, creativity, and collaboration among young performers, nurturing their growth both on and off the stage.
