About
Adventure Camp includes activities in the arcade, gymnasium, and field areas, as well as arts and crafts, water play at an on-campus water park, and use of an on-campus pool. Campers take part in language, writing, math, art, science, and technology activities, along with programs such as Explorer’s Canvas, Adventure STEM Lab, Character Quest, Adventure Time, The Splash Zone, and Gamers Expedition. The program also includes Circle Time, Literature, Academic Refreshers, Science/Technology Discovery, Centers/Free Play, Recess Time, Lunch/Outside Play, Nap time for younger campers, Exploration Centers inside the classroom, Afternoon Play time, Extended Day/Free Play, and Free-play/Games, with a unique, action-packed activity every day and daily rotations.
• Ages: 2–13 years old
• Schedule: Preschool & Pre-K meet Monday–Friday with care available 7:00 am–6:00 pm; camp sessions run in weekly blocks with Full Day (9:00 am–4:00 pm) and Half Day (9:00 am–12:00 pm, Preschool & Pre-K only) options; Kindergarten–8th grade have AM Extended Care/Free Play from 7:30 am–8:45 am, camp check-in at 8:45 am, morning and afternoon activity rotations between 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, and PM Extended Care/Free Play until 5:30 pm.
• Price: Full Day (9:00 am–4:00 pm) $440 per week; Half Day (9:00 am–12:00 pm, Preschool & Pre-K only) $345 per week; 10% discount for registrations completed by March 31, 2026; free before and after care from 7:30–9:00 am and 4:00–5:30 pm.
Since 1966, the school offering Adventure Camp has provided a challenging and enriching education. It provides a challenging and well-rounded program for children in the Yorba Linda, Fullerton, Brea, Anaheim Hills, Chino Hills, Irvine, and Diamond Bar communities and beyond, with teachers who help students thrive academically while building character, communication skills, and teamwork. The school’s preschool, elementary, and middle school are NIPSA-accredited, it has been named a 2026 A+ School by Niche and a Blue Ribbon School, and Parenting OC Magazine named Heritage Oak Private Education the Best Single Location Private School in Orange County in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
Families are asked to send campers in a camp shirt with comfortable shorts and closed-toed shoes, and on water-play days to have children arrive in swimsuits with a towel and a change of clothes packed for after water time. Parents are asked to apply sunscreen before camp and send spray-on sunscreen if reapplication is needed, and to pack home lunches and snacks in a soft lunch pail if bringing food from home. Preschool and pre-kindergarten campers are asked to bring a ziplock bag with a change of clothes and napping materials, and the program asks that toys and valuable items such as hand-held video games or cell phones not be brought to camp.
