Fun in the Son is led by Camp Director Angel Molina and Assistant/Associate Camp Director Alexandria (Alex) Franco. Angel Molina has been part of Fun in the Son since 2019, starting as a summer camp counselor and serving his fourth summer as director. Alexandria has been teaching at CCYL for the past five years and has spent the last three summers at Fun in the Son. Parents are told that camp counselors are trained and qualified staff who love the Lord and have a heart to share the life changing message of Jesus Christ.
Fun in the Son describes itself as a Christ-centered summer camp. Angel Molina’s stated heart for the camp is that every camper has fun, stays safe, and grows in their understanding of Jesus Christ, and he aims to create a positive, Christ-centered environment where students feel encouraged, supported, and excited to come back each day. Alexandria is described as being passionate about creating a fun, safe, and encouraging environment where children can grow academically, socially, and spiritually, and she loves pointing students to Christ in everyday moments while striving to model kindness, patience, and joy.
