About the provider

The leadership team includes Professor Carlos Guimaraes, Professor Lester Galam, Professor Alec Newlands, Professor Jae Lee, and Professor Chris Rodriguez. Professor Carlos Guimaraes is the head instructor, a black belt, a 4th degree black belt, and a World Master Champion in 2014 and 2015. The mission is to train body, mind and spirit through the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction, as a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit. Events and birthday parties are offered, and the school provides free access to events and special classes. Parents are encouraged to stay and watch the entire practice, arrive 15 minutes before class, and one of the assistant instructors or a senior student is assigned as a helper to assist the child.

The school promotes defense, not offense, and teaches respect and civility. The first time you come to the school, you will be welcomed by staff. The class will start on time.
