Center Stage Productions

Center Stage Productions offers youth musical theatre productions that include workshops, auditions, choreography, set design, costuming, blocking, and tech. The program includes chances for participants to build portfolios, have headshots done, improve audition skills, and write a resume.

• Ages: 7–18 years old

Founded in 2022 by Morgan Kersting and Corey Kersting, Center Stage Productions is a youth musical theatre company in the Yuba-Sutter Area powered by Yuba-Sutter Arts & Culture. Its mission is to deliver high-quality musical theatre youth productions to the community showcasing local youth singers, actors, and dancers. A High School Intern Program was added in 2024, and summer interns participate from start to finish of Junior Productions. The program’s stated goal is to provide students with a safe, fun, and educational environment to explore musical theater and expand their skills. One published description calls it “a rigorous training program that covers all aspects of musical theater” (Appeal-Democrat).
