The Cattails Junior Golf Program offers junior golf lessons through both the Cattails Junior Golf Program and the Jon Atencio U.S. Kids Golf Academy. Participants take part in golf lessons that include private individual junior lessons and group junior lessons. Juniors learn all aspects of the game including rules and etiquette, and students in the Jon Atencio U.S. Kids Golf Academy use the Operation 36 program and app to access videos and track their progress.
• Schedule: This program starts the first week in June and ends the first week of July; options include 5 one-hour group lessons and 1 session with 4 lessons that last approximately 1 hour and 2 play days.
• Price: 1 Hour Private Lesson $75; 5 Pack Private Lessons (1 Hour Each) $300; 1 Hour Junior Lesson $45; Cattails Junior Golf Program 5 one-hour group lessons $50 per junior; 1 Session (4 lessons that last approximately 1 hour and 2 play days) $150; Private Junior Lessons 1 Hour Lesson $45 per lesson.
Head golf professional Jon Atencio and assistant golf professional Challis Wright provide golf lessons, and Cattails has 3 different options for junior lessons. Jon is a certified Operation 36 Coach trained to aid in the development of the player, and the Jon Atencio U.S. Kids Golf Academy uses the Operation 36 program to guide players in their development and track student progress. The Cattails Junior Golf Program is geared for juniors wanting more in depth instruction with lower instructor to student ratios, and Cattails Assistant Golf Professional Challis Wright instructs players assisted by other Cattails staff.
