About
Majestic View Nature Center Public Programs include activities such as the Nature Lover’s Book Club, Indoor Astronomy Night, nature storytime, practical gardening workshops, and nature art classes. The program takes place in a 3,000-square-foot nature center facility that features hands-on displays, wildlife exhibits, a kids’ activity area, classrooms, meeting spaces, an augmented reality sandbox, and a beaver lodge exhibit. The surrounding 80-acre park offers nearly 2 miles of nature trails through wetland and prairie ecosystems, including a paved Interpretive Trail and a mulch trail leading to the Oberon Lake overlook, with stroller-friendly trails that meet ABAS accessibility standards and a tip to stay for sunset and see westward mountain views.
