About
Roots Studios offers Creative Movement for ages 2-4, Pre/Mini for ages 4-6, Level 1 for ages 6-9, Level 2 for ages 7-12, Level 3 for ages 10-15, Level 4 for ages 12+, and Level 5 for ages 12+. It also offers Master Classes, Adult Classes, Roots Company with weekly evening rehearsal slots, adult fitness and dance classes, and studio rentals for community members.
Programs
- Creative Movement — ages 2-4 · Introduction to movement for the new dancer.
- Pre/Mini — ages 4-6 · Introductory technique-based class for the new dancer.
- Level 1 — ages 6-9 · Technique-based class for the beginner dancer. Technique classes meet 1x per week.
- Level 2 — ages 7-12 · Previous dance experience recommended. Technique-based class for the continuing dancer. Technique classes meet 1x per week.
- Level 3 — ages 10-15 · Previous dance experience required. Dancers enrolled in Ballet are recommended to take 2x per week. Includes Pre-Pointe and Beginning Pointe.
- Level 4 — ages 12+ · Previous focused technical dance training required. Dancers enrolled in Ballet are recommended to take 2x per week.
- Level 5 — ages 12+ · Previous focused technical dance training required. Dancers enrolled in Ballet are recommended to take 2x per week, and must have previous Pointe experience if participating in Pointe.
- Master Classes — Classes will be offered at a variety of levels. Age ranges and level requirements will be posted as classes are scheduled throughout the year.
- Adult Classes — adults · No previous dance experience required. Just come have some fun!
- Roots Company — Weekly evening rehearsal slots
- Adult fitness and dance classes — adults

Roots Company awards include Overall Studio of the Weekend from Artists Simply Human in 2026, Studio of the Weekend from Precision Arts Challenge in 2026, Standout Studio from Artists Simply Human Nationals 2025, and Advanced Group Competition Champions at Artists Simply Human Nationals 2025. The program’s fall/spring schedule is 2026/2027, and registration is open.
