About
Learn to Bike Camp Boulder introduces kids to biking through a half-day Learn to Bike day camp. The program focuses on a progression from scooting to coasting to pedaling, using a time tested method for skill and confidence building. Campers are strongly encouraged to use their own bikes, but they may also borrow from the camp's fleet.

Avid4 Adventure is a Certified B Corp, is committed to paying educators a fair wage, and operates under a Special Use authorization from the National Forest Service. Every activity starts with a discussion about the risks involved, how to prevent them, and how to respond if something goes wrong.
Avid4 Adventure’s leadership includes Founder David Secunda, former president of the Outdoor Industry Association and a 25-year veteran of the outdoor education industry. Avid4 Adventure runs summer day camps, overnight camps, school programs and events, and its programs evolve as campers grow from age 3 to 17. Avid4 Adventure provides transportation to and from recreation areas, gives campers access to top-of-the-line gear specifically sized for kids, and organizes big adventures in beautiful recreation areas. Avid4 Adventure is described as “the home of multisport adventure,” with activities that include biking, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, and paddling.
Parent testimonials describe Avid4 Adventure camps as top-notch, highly acclaimed summer camps. One parent reports that their child arrived biking with training wheels and, during camp, learned how to ride without training wheels, later becoming able to ride independently after a few more park trips. Other parents note that their kids were active every day, learned new outdoor skills, and were eager to share what they learned, and that the staff are mature, responsible, and excited to share their passion with children.
