Boulder Thunderbirds Baseball is a competitive 9U–14U youth baseball tournament club. The program holds 9u–13u tryouts and is active on Facebook. The club uses a coaching philosophy that takes a whole child approach, and players train and experience gameplay at multiple positions through a developmental approach where everyone plays and contributes.

The Thunderbirds were founded in 2016 and originated from the South Boulder Little League All-Star teams. The organization states that its goal is to allow players to grow their skills and love of the game so they will be able to play as long as their ability will take them. At the 9U–12U levels, the club is designed to be a complement to the Little League experience, and at the 13U–14U levels, its goal is to help players transition from Little League to be prepared for high school baseball. The organization describes the Thunderbird as a symbol of strength, protection, and caring, and it strives to build teams that love spending time together on and off the field, with a focus on sportsmanship, confidence, and character building while aiming to avoid burnout and create players who will love playing baseball as long as their ability will carry them.
