Robert M. Shopneck Boys & Girls Club offers after-school and summer programs that include academic enrichment, leadership clubs, and sports. Programs for kids and teens also include access to a vegetable garden and a large gym that hosts numerous community events throughout the year.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer hours Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with summer dates from June 8 to August 7, 2026; school year hours Monday 8 a.m.–5 p.m. and Tuesday–Friday 3–8 p.m.
• Price: 2025-26 School Year Fees: $25 one-time registration fee per household. $20 monthly program fee per Club member. No fees for high-school Club members (registration required).
The Club is open to school-aged youth in grades K–12. The organization has been a community-based club for more than 60 years. The mission of Robert M. Shopneck Boys & Girls Club is to provide Club members with a safe, supportive, fun, and enriching environment that inspires and empowers them to achieve their greatest potential. The Club’s director is Andrew Worcester.
The Club’s vegetable garden and large gym are used for numerous community events throughout the year. Club members describe their experiences by saying, “I met all of my best friends at the Club. It’s my second home,” and “The Club is where I have found the confidence to be the best version of myself.”
