About
Code Ninjas offers camps and year-round programs where kids build video games, learn to code, and take part in activities themed around Robotics, Roblox, Minecraft, and YouTube. Camps and programs use the IMPACT proprietary learning platform, where participants follow tailored learning tracks called Belts. The program also includes multi-week Code Ninjas Academies in areas such as Robotics and AI, as well as the Code Ninjas Prodigy Program, which has included visits for winning participants to teams such as Microsoft Minecraft, Microsoft MakeCode, XBOX, Bing, and AI at Microsoft’s Headquarters in Seattle, WA.

The organization describes its mission as developing the next generation of problem solvers, creators, and leaders. Its curriculum is described as outcome-based learning with clear learning goals, aligned activities and assessments, and a focus on creation so students can express imagination and have ownership over their creations.
Code Ninjas reports that it strives to have a positive relationship with the community by providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for kids outside of school and by encouraging students to use coding skills to address local problems through apps or websites. Code Ninjas is described as the world’s largest and fastest-growing kids’ coding franchise, with hundreds of locations in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
Parents have shared that their children enjoy Code Ninjas, are excited to show what they make, and have participated in events such as Parent’s Night Out, according to testimonials from parents including Cassie H, Diana R, Patricia W, Jessica H, and Casey W. Another community member, Jane D, reports being impressed by the impact on children’s technical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
