Carbondale Clay Center Kids Classes

Carbondale Clay Center Kids Classes offers Fun and Functional Handbuilding, Creatures Galore Handbuilding, Kids’ Wheel Throwing Class, and Holiday Gifts and Ornaments. The handbuilding classes meet on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 PM, and the wheel throwing class meets on Wednesdays from 2:45 to 4:45 PM.

• Fun and Functional Handbuilding — 5+ · Tuesdays, 4:00-5:30 PM · $150 · Tuesday Afternoons in September. Instructor: Mira Winograd. Allow 2-3 weeks for pieces to be ready for pick-up.
• Creatures Galore Handbuilding — 5+ · Tuesdays, 4:00-5:30 PM · $150 · Tuesday Afternoons in October. Instructor: Ticah Burrows. Allow 2-3 weeks for pieces to be fired and ready for pick-up.
• Kids’ Wheel Throwing Class — 10+ · Wednesdays, 2:45-4:45 PM · $250 · Wednesday Afternoons, Sept-October. New Wednesday Early Release Timing! Instructor: Ticah Burrows.
• Holiday Gifts and Ornaments — 5+ · Tuesdays, 4:00-5:30 PM · $150 · Tuesdays in November. Kids will create handmade ceramic gifts and may also make ornaments. Instructor: Mira Winograd. Allow 2-3 weeks for pieces to be ready for pick-up.

Carbondale Clay Center exists to enrich lives through the ceramic arts. Registration is first-come, first-served, and a student is registered only after tuition is paid in full. Materials and firing fees are included in the tuition unless otherwise noted, and cancellations made at least 7 days before the class start date receive a refund minus a 10% cancellation fee.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. A student is registered only upon receipt of tuition payment in full. Materials and firing fees are included in the tuition unless otherwise noted. To cancel and receive a refund, notify CCC at least 7 days before the class start date; refund minus a 10% cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date. If CCC cancels a class, a full refund is issued.
