Schotime Dance Center offers dance classes and dance lessons in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, lyrical, Adaptive Dance, and Dance With Me classes. The program also includes a preschool dance program, a Performing Company, a Competition Team, and adult dance classes. Classes take place in modern, clean and well appointed studio spaces.

Schotime Dance Center is owned by Megan and Joe Schobert. Megan was a lead choreographer for the Optima Dance organization and earned a dual degree in Elementary and Special Education. In 2021, Megan was cast as one of six Dancely instructors out of hundreds by Clint Salter of the Dance Studio Owners Association (DSOA). Schotime Dance Center opened its doors on November 1st, 2022.
The program’s mission is to provide quality dance education through a supportive atmosphere for all dancers, whether they have been dancing for years or are brand new to dance. The mission states a focus on proper technique and the joy of performing while encouraging dancers to build confidence and practice teamwork, and on nurturing the development of important life skills. Schotime Dance Center describes its vision as shining a spotlight on athletic artistry through the movement of dance, and its core values are summarized as “SCHO UP”: Support, Confidence, Honesty and Open-Mindedness, Understanding and Passion.
Schotime Dance Center describes itself as Castle Rock’s newest dance experience and offers a variety of dance classes for all ages and abilities, from tiny tots and beginners to adults and professional level students. The program offers an Adaptive Dance program to serve children with special needs, a Competition Team for dancers who want more performance opportunities aside from the annual year end show, and programs that are custom built and designed just for Schotime.
