Beetlejuice Jr. 2 week Camp is part of the music, performing arts, and entertainment lessons, shows, and experiences offered through Pickering Academy. The camp takes place within a broader theatrical program that is included in the 2025–2026 Pickering Theatrical Season, which is open for registration. It is connected to an academy described as Centennial’s fastest-growing music and performing arts academy, which also offers new 6-week dance classes and related arts experiences.
The program is led under the leadership of Michael Pickering. The camp operates within an organization whose mission is to provide a fun, supportive, encouraging, creative community in which staff guide students toward fearless self-expression and the realization of their aspirations in music, performing arts, and life, with a commitment to recognizing each student’s unique path and supporting their fun, happiness, growth, and success. Pickering Inspire, a related nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-deductible organization, states a mission to engage, inspire, and empower individuals and communities through music, theatre, and the arts by creating experiences that enrich lives, spark joy, and open doors to growth and connection. Families also have access to the Pickering Store, which offers tees, hoodies, hats, socks, and gift certificates.
Parents have shared that they have seen students learn a lot in a short time and that lessons at Pickering Academy use technology tools for learning, scheduling, and tracking progress. One parent reported that weekly time at Pickering Academy has become a regular and anticipated part of their family routine. Another parent described that their three children have taken voice and piano lessons there, and that instruction was tailored to one child’s strengths, weaknesses, and goals, with the parent observing dramatic improvement and renewed interest in piano, along with what they described as inspired life lessons from teachers.
