About

Cook Street School of Culinary Arts offers the Culinary Arts Program, where students spend 80% of their time cooking and study classic technique, regional cuisines, pastry, and beverage education. It also offers the Baking & Pastry Program, an 8-week intensive built on classic French methods with hands-on instruction from day one, plus recreational classes for the home cook and private events that can include culinary competitions, hands-on cooking classes, or an elevated three-course dining experience.

Programs

  • Culinary Arts Program — Day and evening terms available; Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. · An accelerated certificate program. Students spend 80% of their time cooking. Includes classic technique, regional cuisines, pastry, beverage education, resume and job placement support.
  • Baking & Pastry Program — 8-week intensive; Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm · An 8-week intensive built on classic French methods. Hands-on from day one. Includes resume and job placement support.
  • Recreational Classes — Year-round · Hands-on recreational classes for the home cook.

About the provider

Cook Street School of Culinary Arts was founded in 1999 and has over 25 years of teaching classic techniques of cooking and baking. The leadership team includes Zach Jennings, Executive Chef Instructor, and Yna Zuniga, Pastry Instructor. The Culinary Arts Program is endorsed for quality education by the American Culinary Federation Foundation, and the school is approved and regulated by the State of Colorado Department of Higher Education Division of Private and Occupational Schools and the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

  • Private Events — Hands-on private events, including culinary competitions, hands-on cooking classes, or an elevated three-course dining experience.

Admissions are open now for the Culinary Arts Program. One term per year - enrollment is ongoing for the Pastry Arts Intensive Program. The Culinary Arts Program includes an upcoming 2027 Evening Program and Day Programs.
