Gymnastics Plus

Gymnastics Plus offers Parent-Tot Classes for children 18 months to 3 years old with parent involvement, and children under age 3 must remain with a parent in the class. It also offers Preschool Classes for ages 3 to 5, Recreational Program classes for ages 5 and older, Xcel Team training two nights a week year-round, JO Team, Summer Camps, and Parents Night Out.

• Preschool Classes — 3-5 years old · weekday mornings and afternoons and Saturday mornings · Teach social skills and self-confidence in a group setting.
• Recreational Program — 5 and older · Monday-Saturday throughout the year · Designed to teach boys and girls fundamental gymnastics skills in a safe, structured, fun environment.
• Xcel Team — two nights a week year-round · Competitive gymnastics team governed by USA Gymnastics.

About the provider

Gymnastics Plus opened in the summer of 1997. The program was started from the vision of Tim Frye, who is described as a respected USA Gymnastics judge and a multi-term Colorado USA Gymnastics board member. Rebecca Lenzini is described as a future co-owner, and Cheri Steffes is listed as a coach. The program says it has produced Colorado USAG and High School State Champions, USAG Regional and National Champions, and Collegiate Scholarship Winners and Competitors.
