About the provider
Ramah in the Rockies describes itself as the only kosher outdoor adventure camp in the country with an intensive Jewish program. It says it strives to nurture the character development of Jewish youth through physical, intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual challenge. Ta'am Ramah provides a shuttle for campers at the Hebrew Education Alliance in Denver on the first and last days, and overnight excursions use meals prepared by the group on camping stoves or over open fires.
What families say
“Our daughter went for two weeks and came back positively glowing! In just 14 days, she is like a different kid. We are amazed by what she did, love hearing her stories, and are still a bit stunned about the entire experience. It exceeded our highest expectations.” — Dan, Camp parent
“Over 300 campers and counselors exuberantly sing and dance after the Shabbat meal. I am smack in the middle of so much positive energy, our arms around each other as together we lead the Hebrew songs. I am completely at home here, part of a community of people who passionately share my interests and my values, at my home away from home.” — Noah, Staff member
“We’re so thankful for the way you’ve enhanced our daughter’s connection to Judaism and Israel. It’s not just the fun activities she remembers, but the meaningful lessons and deeper understanding of her heritage. We couldn’t have asked for a better environment for her to grow, learn, and strengthen her identity.” — Sara, Camp parent
