About
HitStreak is a Colorado baseball and softball training program that offers youth baseball teams, youth fastpitch softball teams, and high school baseball teams. The program also offers private and small group instruction, team training, consulting, coach and player clinics, fall team programs, pitching and batting tunnel rentals, and seasonal camps and clinics.
• Schedule: Centennial/Englewood hours are Monday–Friday 3:30 pm–9:00 pm and Saturday–Sunday 12:00 pm–5:00 pm, and Aurora hours are Monday–Thursday 9:00 am–9:00 pm and Friday–Sunday 9:00 am–7:00 pm.
HitStreak was founded in 2006 by owner Scott Vatter. The program states that it has been bringing baseball and softball technology and training to the Denver community for nearly two decades and that the youth baseball and softball community in Denver has grown and changed significantly during that time. HitStreak states that players of all ages and skill levels are always welcome and that there is no requirement to be affiliated with a team to train there.
HitStreak’s mission states that it is committed to offering training products to maximize skill development, along with a positive atmosphere and instructors who coach with integrity, with a focus on skills, character, confidence, and leadership. The program states that it partners with teams, organizations, and players of all ages and skill levels and that it is committed to making a positive impact in young athletes and families in the Denver community. HitStreak describes its slogan as “No Egos. No Agenda. Come Love the Game.”
The indoor training facilities offer year-round access to batting and pitching tunnels, advanced training technology, open cages, interactive pitching machines, pitching lanes, open space for defense, a strength and conditioning area, and meeting rooms. The facility is described as clean, bright, professional, and a very safe environment. HitStreak also uses a ProBatter system that one parent describes as helpful for visual learning of where to pick up the ball off the hip for softball.
Parent testimonials describe the coaches as knowledgeable and compassionate, the staff as helpful and friendly, and the owners as responsive and knowledgeable. Parents report using the facility for individual lessons, team practices, and regular sessions on the ProBatter system, and they describe the facility as updated, clean, and having enough room for full team practices. Multiple parents specifically mention working with Scott on batting and softball training and describe positive experiences with their children’s instruction.
