Youth Golf and Pickleball Programs at Chipeta Golf Course include Junior Golf Camps with lessons in putting, chipping, irons, woods, and on-course golf instruction. The program also includes a Junior Pickleball League with pickleball drills, match play, and strategy coaching, along with separate Junior Pickleball Camps.
• Ages: 6–16 years old
• Schedule: Junior Golf Camps run June 8–12 (Junior Camp 1) and July 13–17 (Junior Camp 2), and the Junior Pickleball League runs after each of these camps; an unlimited play summer pass offers unlimited golf May through September.
• Price: $100 for Junior Golf Camp 1; $100 for Junior Golf Camp 2; $50 for the Junior Pickleball League; $50 for Junior Pickleball Camp 1; $50 for Junior Pickleball Camp 2; an additional $50 for an unlimited play summer pass for junior camp participants, which gives unlimited golf May through September.
Chipeta Junior Golf Camps are designed to introduce and promote the game of golf to junior golfers of all abilities and to provide a fun and enjoyable learning environment for golfers ages 6 to 16. The Junior Pickleball League focuses on building skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and energetic environment, with drills, match play, and strategy coaching tailored to different skill levels. Chipeta Golf Course is an executive golf course with 18 holes, par 60, and yardage of 3,835, with par fours measuring from 250 to 386 yards and par threes varying from 114 to 235 yards, and players can plan on using every club in their bag. Chipeta Golf Course is described as a well maintained course perfect for a quick nine holes or a casual round with golfers of all skill levels, and Chipeta PickleBall offers premier pickleball courts open for events, parties, and reservations.
Discounted lessons are offered from PGA Professional Eloy Vendegna, and the Out of the Rough League is hosted by PGA Professional Eloy. The leadership team includes Joe Toke, General Manager; Tim Reeves, Operations Manager; Kaleb Anderson, Head Agronomist; and Eloy Vendegna, PGA Professional.
