Gold Crown Foundation Sports and Enrichment Programs include basketball, volleyball, golf, hockey, and football, along with activities such as mindfulness, stretching, yoga, and nutrition. The Health Huddle program focuses on the overall physical and mental health of youth in the community, with specific focus on mental health, healthy habits, and sports performance, and provides help for parents, coaches, and patrons to address the “whole child” in mind, body, and spirit. The Healthy Kids Expo, part of Health Huddle, launched in 2022 as a free, public event and engages around 800 youth and their families in interactive activities ranging from hockey, basketball, or football to mindfulness, stretching, yoga, and nutrition.
Gold Crown Foundation provides nearly $900,000 each year in subsidized program fees and describes its focus on affordability and low-income support. It states that it is proud to “prepare kids for the game of life,” inside and outside of the classroom and on and off the court. Gold Crown Enrichment launched in 2003 and opened the Gold Crown Jr. Golf Learning Center in 2007, hosted the NWBA Championships in 2009, dedicated Keli McGregor Field at Coca-Cola All-Star Park in 2011, hosted a Youth Development Conference in 2012, hosted the National Clubhouse Conference in 2014, opened The Clubhouse at Edgewater in 2018, and launched Health Huddle in 2019.
