The program mission is to educate visitors about the evolving story of Dinosaur Ridge while advancing scientific research and fossil protection. Dinosaur Ridge has earned the Candid Seal of Transparency and is described as the paleontologist-rated #1 Dinosaur Tracksite in the nation. Scholarships are available for Summer Camp, and the program acknowledges support from 100+ Women Who Care Solterra for funding scholarships.

Erin LaCount and Amanda Rea co-lead multiple camp sessions as Camp Directors. Junior counselors are volunteers between the ages of 14 and 20 who gain experience in what it takes to create a fun, educational environment for campers and can earn volunteer credit in support of school or college application goals.
