The mission of Premier School of Dance is to continue the artistry and tradition of dance and to have dance families gain appreciation for the performing arts and the life lessons that dance training provides. The studio notes that many dancers have received admission into a variety of prestigious summer programs that require auditions, and that alumni have pursued dance at a collegiate level, with several dancing for local pre-professional companies. Premier is celebrating 33 years of dance education and states that it is committed to spreading the joy of dance in the community.
Parent and student comments include a former student who said Premier gave her the support, instruction, and life skills she needed to thrive as a dancer and as a decent human being. Another parent thanked the teachers for the training provided over seven years and described the studio as a strong foundation and a fabulous experience for her daughter. A parent also thanked the studio for the work it took to organize a Jazz recital during COVID and shared that the dancers were excited to see each other.
