About
Loveland Volleyball Club offers practices and skill based clinics that lead into a competitive club season. Players take part in in-state RMR Power tournaments, Showdown, Crossroads, the Omaha President's Day Classic, and travel Junior National Qualifier (JNQ) tournaments, including both in-state and out-of-state JNQs for certain age groups.
• Ages: 13–18 years old
Loveland Volleyball Club is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that was founded in 2010. Players on LVBC “2” or second level teams compete in in-state RMR Power tournaments as well as Showdown and Crossroads. For 16s, 17s, and 18s teams, the program includes increased focus on college recruitment visibility through in-state and out-of-state travel tournaments playing at the USA and Open level, with college exposure events that may include the Omaha President's Day Classic, a travel JNQ, Crossroads, and RMR Powers. The 15s team joins the older ages on an out-of-state JNQ, while 13s and 14s teams do not travel out of state.
The club’s mission states that its goal is to provide an enriching, competitive volleyball club experience while keeping costs affordable and to create a volleyball community that includes athletes, parents, and coaches. The mission also states a focus on developing players with a long-term goal in mind, giving younger teams as much time and attention as more mature players, and emphasizing injury prevention, strength, and agility to develop strong, agile athletes. The club states that it does not have a win-at-all-costs approach and will not ask a player to compete with an injury just to win a game.
Ben and Cara bring a combination of collegiate playing experience, collegiate coaching background, and a stated passion for developing athletes, and they are currently serving as the Head and Assistant Volleyball Coaches at Resurrection Christian High School, where they led their program to a State Championship title in 2023. The leadership team includes Club Director Jaycee Mack, LVBC Director of Coaches Mark Bowles, Fees and Payments contact Jim McCutchan, Media contact Jaycee Mack, a general information contact at [email protected], and a fundraising contact at [email protected]. The club notes that it is creating a volleyball community with everyone involved, including athletes, parents, and coaches, to support one another and build lifelong skills that go beyond volleyball.
