AAUW Tech Trek is a one-week summer camp for girls in middle school. Campers take part in hands-on problem solving and meet women role models in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).

About the provider
AAUW of California member Marie Wolbach founded Tech Trek in 1998 with help from an AAUW Community Action Grant. AAUW Tech Trek operates at 22 sites around the nation, and campers are nominated by their seventh-grade math and science teachers, then apply and are selected by a committee.
