About
Ave Maria Dance Academy offers dance and performing arts training that includes ballet, jazz, modern, and leaps and turns. Dancers take technique classes, attend rehearsals, and may participate in master classes with guest choreographers. Company members are chosen by audition and train in both technique classes and rehearsals.

Ave Maria Dance Academy has been serving Southwest Florida since 2008. Its mission is to provide dancers with training so they can explore, cultivate, and express their God-given talents while nurturing their love of the performing arts. The academy offers sibling discounts, multiple class discounts, homeschool programs, competitive programs, and various performance opportunities in a family-friendly environment.
Company members train a minimum of 6 hours per week in technique classes as well as rehearsals. The academy does not attend competitions but offers students performance opportunities throughout Florida, including an end-of-the-year recital, a Christmas show, and numerous local events. Exclusive master classes with guest choreographers are also part of the program.
Company I is for ages 8 and up with 3 years of dance experience, requires at least 1 hour per week of ballet, attendance in the Company I class for jazz and modern training, and a minimum of 5 hours of total weekly training, and dancers perform with the AMDA company. Company II is for ages 12 and up with 5 years of dance experience, requires at least 1 hour per week of ballet, attendance in the Company II class for jazz and modern training, and a minimum of 6 hours of total weekly training, and dancers perform with the AMDA company. Company III is for ages 14 and up with 7 years of dance experience, requires dancers to be en pointe, at least 2 hours per week of ballet, attendance in the Company III class for jazz, modern, and leaps and turns training, and a minimum of 7 hours of total weekly training, and dancers perform with the AMDA company.
