Island Groove Dance Studio

Island Groove Dance Studio offers Little Groovers & Me, a parent-participation movement class with music, movement, props, obstacle courses, imaginative play, and sensory experiences. It also offers Little Groovers Ballet + Tap, Little Groovers Acro + Hip Hop, Mini Acro, Petite Acro, Junior Acro, Intermediate Acro, Mini Hip Hop, and Petite Hip Hop.

Programs

• Little Groovers & Me — 1.5–3 · Parent-participation movement class with music, movement, props, obstacle courses, imaginative play, and sensory experiences.
• Little Groovers Ballet + Tap — 3–4 · Introductory combo class in ballet and jazz with imaginative games, storytelling, and lively music.
• Little Groovers Acro + Hip Hop — 3–4 · Creative, story-driven acro class using the Little Acrobats curriculum with beginner tumbling and play-based stretching.
• Mini Acro — 4–6 · Foundational acro class emphasizing form, balance, strength, and early tumbling skills.
• Petite Acro — 6–8 · Acro class focused on strength, flexibility, body control, and across-the-floor combinations.
• Junior Acro — 8–11 · Training in tumbling, flexibility, strength, and acro-to-dance transitions.
• Intermediate Acro — 10–16 · Advanced acro class focused on aerials, back handsprings, conditioning, flexibility, and skill drills.
• Mini Hip Hop — 4–6 · High-energy hip hop class teaching rhythm, body awareness, musicality, choreography, and games.
• Petite Hip Hop — 6–8 · Hip hop class introducing beginner street-style choreography with coordination, musicality, and body control.

• General schedule: Classes meet weekly. Enrollment is always open, including mid-session. First day of classes for the fall season is 2026-08-10. Auto Pay runs the 1st of every month from September 1st - May 1st.

Annual registration fee is $45 per dancer. Tuition is due the 1st of every month. Late fee is $15 if tuition is not paid by the 8th of the month, with an additional $15 for every additional week unpaid. No refunds. Written request for dropped classes must be submitted 14 days before next pay period. Make-up classes can be made up within 4 weeks of the missed date in any style age-appropriate or by approval; no credit for missed classes.
