YMCA of South Palm Beach County Youth Programs include summer camp, swim lessons, competitive swim teams, basketball, volleyball, and soccer. Swim lessons are offered as group and private lessons for youth, teens, adults, and also include adaptive swim lessons. Y Camps are described as offering a safe environment for kids to have fun, stay active and learning outside of the school year, and camps are offered for preschoolers up to teens.

The YMCA of South Palm Beach County began as a single branch in 1972. Its mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The YMCA of South Palm Beach County manages programs and services within the Southern Palm Beach County area and has strategic initiatives including Drowning Prevention, Robes Family LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Parkinson's and other Chronic Disease's Programs, and a Diabetes Self-Management Program. The YMCA of South Palm Beach County is described as a leading non-profit committed to strengthening community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose and each other, with a focus on empowering young people, improving health and well-being, and inspiring action in and across communities. It provides opportunities for South Palm Beach County residents to give back and serve their communities and instills an ethic of volunteerism.
