YMCA of South Palm Beach County Youth Programs and Camps include Summer Camp, sports such as basketball, volleyball, and soccer, and a range of aquatics options. The program offers group and private swim lessons, adaptive swim lessons, and competitive swim teams for different age groups, including youth and teens, as well as adults for swim lessons. Y Camps are for preschoolers up to teens and take place outside of the school year.

The YMCA of South Palm Beach County began as a single branch in 1972. Its mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The organization is a leading non-profit committed to strengthening community by connecting all people to their potential, purpose and each other, and it works locally with a focus on empowering young people, improving health and well-being, and inspiring action in and across communities. Strategic initiatives include Drowning Prevention, Robes Family LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, Parkinson's and other chronic disease programs, and a Diabetes Self-Management Program. The YMCA of South Palm Beach County offers Total Access, Zero Barriers and is committed to providing equal access to its programs, facilities, and enjoyment, and intentionally engages and develops all members of the Y community. The Y allows all community members to participate in membership programs regardless of their ability to pay fees and offers financial assistance to those who may be facing financial hardships or challenges. The support of donors and the community enables the YMCA of South Palm Beach County to turn no one away due to their inability to pay, and it provides approximately $1 million in scholarship assistance each year through annual contributions, as well as over $1 million dollars in programs and services back to the community annually. Workout at the Peter Blum Family Y in Boca or DeVos-Blum Family Y in Boynton is free every Tuesday in February.
