IMG Academy Track & Field and Cross Country Camps include event-specific training such as sprints, distance, hurdles, throws, pole vault, and jumps. Camp activities also include strength, speed, power and agility training, leadership and communication training, recovery training through Recovery+, athlete assessment and injury prevention, and mental performance coaching.

IMG Academy Track & Field and Cross Country Camps are led by a Track and Field Director, Mark Napier, and are anchored by coaches with years of playing and coaching experience at the highest levels. Mark Napier’s credentials include Florida High School Coach of the Year, National Coach of the Year Finalist, and NJCAA National Assistant Coach of the Year four times. The camps offer event-specific, seasonal track and field and cross country programs with programming available throughout the year, including summer, fall, holiday, and spring training camps that use a progressive training curriculum, small group training, and event-specific development and drills. Programs range from two daily training sessions to options that include personalized coaching sessions or training specializations, including Strength, Speed, Power and Agility, Leadership and Communication, Recovery+, Athlete Assessment and Injury Prevention, and Mental Performance, with availability varying by season. On-campus sports physical therapists from Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital provide instruction for the Athlete Assessment and Injury Prevention specialization.
