Camp Fire Century Youth Learning Center

Camp Fire Century Youth Learning Center offers day care, Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK), youth leadership programs, and summer camps. The program also offers out-of-school-time programs and nature camp and outdoor programs where participants spend time in nature to learn, explore, and grow together while developing a lifelong respect for the outdoors. Camp Fire is described as a supportive, positive environment that includes safe, fun, constructive activities for children and adults, and is presented as a unique experience for children in the Pensacola, Milton, and Century, Florida areas.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

The program’s mission statement is “Helping America’s youth prepare for life!” The leadership team includes La-Vonne Haven, Executive Director/CEO (Ext. 105); Vicki Terrell, Office Manager & Bookkeeper (Ext. 103); McKenzie Cooper, Marketing & PR Manager (Ext. 104); and Vanna English, Director. Camp Fire states that it translates its values into action through volunteer development, group experiences, mentoring relationships, youth decision making, embracing diverse populations, community collaborations and partnerships, advocacy, experimental learning, self-reflection, and fun.
