The Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment (CAMAT) program in the Department of Psychology at the University of Miami is a clinical research program dedicated to developing and testing state-of-the-art psychotherapy approaches for anxiety and depression in children and adolescents. A parent or guardian must complete an initial online questionnaire to determine eligibility, and if eligible, the clinic will contact the family for more information. An initial intake appointment is scheduled at the office or on Zoom, and a non-refundable deposit is requested for the initial evaluation. After evaluation, treatment recommendations may include CAMAT treatment or referrals to community services.
